So, who am I?
I always struggled to define who I am but here's what ChatGPT thinks about me:

I started coding back in Jan 2020 and this is my first deployed website.

I had the privilege of working with really talented people and learning from them pretty much most of my career.
And this is my first React project ever, Mertflix. This alone got me more than 100 followers in my old Twitter account back then.

I always liked desiging stuff but I was fascinated by coding when I tried to code my first Figma design. It was for a very early stage startup. I volunteered to do it.

I have to admit that this is the most original design I've ever made. It took me two weeks to design but two months to code.
I didn't even bother to learn any frameworks until 2021. I sticked with the basics for a while and it really paid off.
I started leading a small frontend team in 2022. Hired people, mentored a junior developer and shipped an entire logistics platform in a year.
Long story short I found myself as the Head of Frontend in a three billion dollar company at 25. And I quit.
I always wanted to build my own products and help someone else to build theirs utilizing all my knowledge.
And that's what I'm exactly doing right now. I'm building Düzgün Randevu, Türkiye's most modern appointment scheduling platform. And I'll be sharing more about what I learned through this journey. So you can see how I'm thinking and executing while building a real product.

I've been speaking with my users from day one. And I'm currently testing the app with them. I can't describe how good it feels when you show them your product and they love it.
I started building it on 15th of September 2025. And it's fully functional in two weeks with invitation system, SMS reminders, proper rate limits, fully responsive with a very good UI. This is all thanks to Claude Code. I never used anything beyond Cursor tab to build something real before but this tool just blew me away.
I'm now pretty sure that AI is not a bubble but a game changer. I'll be sharing my workflow and the templates I use to save some time and tokens in the beginning. I'm also planning to help non-technical people to learn what to be aware of while building with AI.
One thing I must say is technical knowledge is a must to build something realiable and maintainable. Vibe coding can be a starting point but nothing else. I call my process AI assisted product development and it involves a lot of human review. I can't imagine building the same product without my expertise. I believe it's impossible.
I'm not a fan of hype, I'm a fan of building real products with real users. And I'd love to meet with like-minded people to grow together. You can either book a call or mail me at mert@duzgun.dev
